New products, extended range and Dealer Partnership Programme profiled
Apollo Vredestein will use the REIFEN trade show in Essen to showcase a range of new product and sales innovations. From 24 May to 27 May, the multinational tyre manufacturer will present the new Apollo Altrust, unveil the latest expansion of the Vredestein Quatrac all-season tyre range and give the latest news on its dynamic Dealer Partnership Programme.
The new Apollo Altrust, which will make its public debut at REIFEN, is to go on sale throughout Europe. Leveraging on the company’s rich experience in the commercial vehicle sector, this new light truck tyre is designed with a focus on safety and lifespan.
A uniform pressure distribution and reinforced curb rib protection will make the Apollo Altrust remarkably durable, while a next-generation tread & base compound and optimised cavity profile will enhance fuel efficiency. The tyre’s more rounded footprint, increased resistance to aquaplaning, and the stiffer tread pattern for stable braking will augment the driver’s safety.
More innovation will be on display in Essen, as an extension of the popular Vredestein Quatrac range will be announced. Apollo Vredestein’s market leading expertise in both summer and winter tyres has enabled the brand to establish a firm market position with its all-season Quatrac tyres, which were first introduced in 1993. As many as 42 new sizes in the Quatrac 5 tyre will be released during 2016, bringing the total number of specs available in this flagship tyre to 126. Sixteen of the new sizes will have W or Y speed index, and range from 16” to 20".
The latest generation of Vredestein Quatrac 5 tyres, first launched in 2014, is designed for both passenger cars as well as SUVs (including the Volkswagen Tiguan, Audi Q5 and A4, and Mercedes Benz GLA). This new expansion of the range makes the tyre suitable for the luxury segment cars such as the Mercedes Benz GLE, Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery.
A stand worth visiting
Located in Hall 3 (number 3C16), the stand will be spread over 462 square metres. In addition to meeting areas, tyre presentations, an information bar and a car display, the stand will also feature a mock-up of the type of stores involved in Apollo Vredestein’s successful Dealer Partnership Programme.
This unique partnership programme for dealers was introduced last year and currently there are eight such stores established in seven different countries, with many more Dealer Partnership Programmes in the pipeline.
